HELLO!
How have you been guys?? It has been a while since my last post.A few weeks ago, I had a holiday and went to a waterfall with my family. It's in Probolinggo, East Java. The waterfall called Madakaripura. You can search on google to make sure that I'm not lying nor being too much.
We went there by car from Surabaya, it took about 3-4 hours to get there. And we was leavin home so early in the morning so that we could enjoy the waterfall while there hasn't too many people visiting yet. It was about 5.30am, and reached the spot at about 9am. The waterfall was on a hill, and the road was very very amazing! Road sides were truly great, you won't be bored for the one last hour ride.
We parked our car, then we had to walk for about 1 kilometer to reach exactly the waterfall. It was such a good walk, too. The scenery in your left and right will not disappoint you! There were also some vendors selling fried traditional dishes and hot drinks.
Let me tell you not to wear thick or too much clothes, because once you see the waterfall -even the minor ones-, you'll immediately going to be wet, but to reach the main waterfall -Madakaripura- you have to climb a little -just a little, really- to the upper side on a side of a cliff. It was a bit dangerous and slippy, so you need to be careful and make sure your hand is tightly holding on any part of the cliff. And when you get to the main waterfall, you're definitely going to be speechless. IT WAS PARADISE SERIOUSLYYYY.
A high waterfall, and unique view up to the sky because of the cliffs around it, blue little puddle under the waterfall, it was great to get into the water!
I loved the sound of the falling water, so loud yet so nice, kind of peaceful somehow. I took a video, too. Oh, and you could buy a phone protector -it was actually plastic protector- in a vendor right before the waterfall area, so your phone won't get wet, because it sure will. Have I mentioned that there were also a raincoat seller there? If you don't really want to get completely wet, buy then. It was only IDR 10000. About one US Dollar.
We stayed there for about three hours play in the water and take photos. It was such a great place!!!
